116. Birds of Barrington: Great Egret Spotting at Baker’s Lake
The small Barrington Lake where my father taught me to ice skate in the early 60's.  Today the lake is a bird sanctuary, but this is not the only place in the Barrington area to find these beautiful Egret's.  Throughout North Barrington, Port Barrington and communities bordering the Fox River are privey to such bird sitings on a regular basis.
